FAQS / SPECS: Artwork specs, considerations, and what we have learned that works best for your labels.
THE LOWDOWN ON THE LABEL ART:
SALVE ARTWORK should 1.75 inch circle at 300dpi. If you have a bigger piece, send it over and we'll fix it up!
LOTION, CLEANSER, PIERCING ARTWORK should be no larger than 2.5inch by 2.5inch square. ( We will add the ingredients and directions complete with customizing with your shop name. Please make sure all art is scanned in and is at least 300dpi.)
Please remember, we print directly from artwork you provide and WE WILL ADD THE LETTERING FOR YOU at no charge if needed. Art should be sent in a 300dpi or higher jpeg, tif, gif, .pdf or .psd file. We can even design the whole thing if you have no artwork on hand...
If you're emailing a file, please be sure you have the correct minimum resolution of AT LEAST 300dpi. If your not sure, email it and we will tell you if it will work! (Stickers themselves are small so design your art with that in mind).
Original mailed artwork is accepted and scanned at no charge. It will be returned with your first order. Artwork is safe and will not be used for any other reason.
Make your design simple! Intricate and super-fine lines (less than 1pt) tend to not show up on your sticker. For your reference, 1pt lines are roughly the same thickness as what a medium ball point will draw.
White backgounds tend to look best. Keep it simple.
Don't use the fancy shmancy Photoshop filters that make your artwork fuzzy - it's almost guaranteed not to print nicely.
Email artwork AFTER ordering to info@TattooAftercare.net, we will add whatever information you want to it, and email you a proof to approve. As soon as you ok it, your stuff will be on its way pronto.
SHELF LIFE: Black Cat Tattoo Aftercare products use natural preservatives (Vitamin E.) This works great and is helpful with the healing process. We reccomend a 5-month shelf life as the natural herbs can start to break down, so order accordingly.
Change your art anytime, as many times as you want...or use your same art we have on file for ever and ever.
